Nancy Stricklin is a graduate from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. In 2001, she became a member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) as a writer and publisher. After writing several children’s stories and poems, her interest in music began to blossom. She has written several songs and recorded with, and for several artists. After working closely with music groups, she secured a management deal with OMG of New York, for an Alabama R&B group. Her musical resume also includes recording with a national gospel-recording artist, recording with American Idol, Ruben Studdard and having songs placed on four albums.

In 2003 she founded Musaic Productions LLC, The umbrella company for her work. She wrote and published her first book (Her Name is Deceit) in 2003 under Musaic Publishing. Since then, she has written and published three additional books (Saying it All Without Saying a Word, Poetically Correct and Behind Closed Doors). She has recently finished her first audio book (Her Name is Deceit), which features a full cast of narrators for an amazing listen.

In between projects, she launched Oak Selections (One of a Kind Selections), which include jewelry, paintings and crafts that she has created and sold over the years. She also does commissioned web designs. Various clients include: Phenixx, 205 Elite, Building Non Profits and B.O.U.N.C.E. She continues to work in the music industry and publishes for other authors through her publishing company "Musaic Publishing". She currently continues to tour the country with her books and art exhibit, "The Essence of Color".
